Le Refuge des Châtaigniers
4.4 / 5 · Note Reloge consolidée
This stone village house, typical of Corsican buildings, welcomes you in a mountain setting at 1424 m above sea level. You will find exposed stonework, chestnut beams and terracotta tiles that create a warm atmosphere. The bedrooms, decorated in a retro 60s and 70s style, each feature vintage finds and mustard, burnt orange and sage green colours.
The welcome is friendly and breakfast is carefully prepared by the host, who also offers table d'hôtes by reservation for a simple evening meal. The garden and on-site parking complete this offer.
Corte, with its shops 300 m away, is an ideal starting point for exploring the surrounding mountains. Carnoles station is 210 km away and Calvi Sainte Catherine airport is 37 km away, offering easy access to this beautiful Corsican region.
